Casa Carrizo is our family home for 4 months of the year and we ask that you treat it with the same respect you treat your own home.

 

 PLEASE do not put any paper or sanitary products down the toilets; we are on a very delicate eco-septic system and it will not be able to cope - and plumbers are not always readily available!

Please don’t have any parties, smoke inside or take glasses / bottles out to the swimming pool.

​

Please close all windows / doors when using the AC and PLEASE turn them off when not required - they crucify our electric bill!

If you'd like to use the BBQ - please do not use any charcoal - we have found it to be problematic in terms of the draw and it will start smoking.  Just use kindling (loads on the beach) and the firewood provided and it'll work perfectly!

Also to note - we have a couple of cats that come and go from the property - Lorenzo and Splodge.  We looked after them when they were found abandoned in the lagoon as kittens; they live outside and we leave food for them on the top balcony.  They love human attention, but it's completely up to you if you want them in the house or not.  And as they prefer humans to animals - we have a STRICT no pets policy.
