SALADITA 

In Saladita there are a handful of beach-side restaurants a short stroll away where you can enjoy great Mexican food whilst watching the sunset with a Margarita in hand!

 

MAREA - Great place to check the surf or watch the sunset with a Jamaiquita (my personal favourite cocktail).  They sometimes have music too - check the link.

LOURDES’ BAR & GRILL – pizza night on Thursday with a live band 

BENNY’S - traditional Mexican food and GREAT seafood fresh off the boat as Benito also arranges fishing trips. 

OLY'S - (the best (and only) bar on the beach and one of our favourite places – they also serve great food!)  

PACO’S - serves great tacos and ribs amongst other dishes. 

ILIANET’S - classic Mexican dishes 

MAREJADA - great burger & poke bowl spot just behind Paco's

PANCHO & JOVITA - exciting lagoon-crossing required (wading or hand-pulled boat) to reach this colourful and bohemian restaurant serving good traditional Mexican fayre.

MONTCADA – first floor restaurant on the left-hand side of the road as you leave Saladita serving very reasonable and delicious Mexican food!  They also sometimes have live music and they serve pozole on a Thursday which is a traditional Mexican stew.

LOS LLANOS 

A 10-minute drive into Los Llanos and you will find some great local options.  

 

NANCY’S - the only local place that has a ‘trompo’ and therefore the best tacos al pastor! 

ANGELINA’S - classic Mexican dishes 

 

TRONCONES 

A 15-minute drive away (you can go the back roads for a bit of adventure!!) there is a wide selection of delicious restaurants in Troncones.

AMOR TROPICAL - great cocktails and great food in a wonderful location right on the beach
BRISAS DEL MAR - absolutely delicious seafood restaurant in Majahua

INDIGO - Argentinian food, pizzas, salads 

 EL CHIRINGUITO - recently opened snazzy place on the beach serving tapas and Spanish cuisine

ROBERTO’S BISTRO - Argentinian steak House with live music - check the link for which days

THE INN AT MANZANILLO BAY - Mexican Asian Fusion 

LA MEXICANA - Mexican food featuring seafood dishes. They also have live music on some nights. 

 

ZIHUATANEJO 

LA GAVIOTA, Playa La Ropa – if you want to spoil yourself, this is a great choice and right on the beautiful La Ropa beach! 

FLECHITA ROJA - A real local spot serving the best tacos in Zihua in our opinion! Not a spot for vegetarians as they only serve tacos al pastor and barbacoa  - open 24/7. One of our absolute favourite spots. 

CARMELITA’S - A great restaurant tucked away off the main drag serving delicious and authentic Mexican dishes
